In the retail business since 2006, MaiYa Pearls specializes in unique, one-of-a-kind, designer jewelry, primarily using high quality pearls from around the world. Most pieces are created by our jewelry designer in our storefront in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. Quality is our primary consideration and each piece is created for durability and comfort in mind. The finest precious metals, such as Argentium Silver, White Gold, and Italian Sterling Silver are used to ensure exceptional strength, hypoallergenic qualities, and simple elegance.

Our jewelry selection includes formal, semi-formal, and casual styles, so you can be assured that you will find the piece that is right for you for any occasion. However, we also specialize in customized creations for weddings, graduations, anniversaries, Sweet 16 celebrations, galas, and special events. Whether you need us to design jewelry to match something you already have, or want to add a bit of extra flare to your veil or bouquet, we serve our clientele with the utmost consideration, courtesy, and respect, while also striving to stay within your timeframe and budget. Courteous customer service is a standard we maintain in both our storefronts and our online shop.

With store locations on Sussex Dr. in Ottawa, and at Spinnaker’s Landing, in Summerside, P.E.I., you can visit our storefronts to try on the jewelry and sample the quality for yourself.   Repair services are also available at reasonable rates, and if the designer is in, you can often have it repaired on the spot.

Behind the Name…

MaiYa Pearls is a family run business, with a quickly growing team of dedicated employees. The inspiration behind our name is the owner and creative designer’s first born child, MaiYa. She was (and still is) the pearl of their eye, and is now helping to model the jewelry for us. She is truly our mascot, and can be seen throughout our online catalogue displaying the look and feel of our pieces with her grace and natural beauty.
